Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts (Omaha, Nebraska)

The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts provides well-equipped studio spaces, living accommodations and a monthly stipend to artists who are awarded residencies. These artists come from around the world to work within a supportive community of like-minded people. The Tulipana Group facilitated the Bemis Center's annual strategic planning process with the Board of Directors and staff, helping to create a clear vision for the organization.

Charles E. Lakin Human Services Campus (Council Bluffs, Iowa)

Through the foresight of community leaders, city government, the Iowa West Foundation, generous donors and five not-for-profit agencies five highly respected human service agencies came together to locate services on one campus in Council Bluffs, IA, and to jointly serve the area's most vulnerable residents. This innovative and collaborative community effort is known as the Charles E. Lakin Human Services Campus. Pete Tulipana served as the lead Executive and Consultant for the campus project, successfully raising $35 million to build the campus.

Completely Kids/Campfire USA (Omaha, Nebraska)

Completely Kids addresses the needs of at-risk youth in Omaha — learning, life skills, family relationships, and nutrition. From academic support to healthy relationships, Completely Kids provide outcomes-based programs that give youth the tools they need to grow into confident, contributing members of our community. The Tulipana Group facilitated the annual strategic planning process with Completely Kids' Board of Directors and staff, helping to create a clear direction for the organization.

Family & Children's Services (Tulsa, Oklahoma)

Family & Children's Services, a premier human service provider in northeastern Oklahoma, provides an array of family services and comprehensive mental health services for adults and children across the lifespan. The F&CS network includes 11 facilities and more than 50 school and community partner locations throughout the greater Tulsa metro area. The Tulipana Group provided capital campaign consultation services to FCS, raising $12 million, a 30% increase over the original goal of $8 million. The Tulipana Group also provided follow-up Fund Development Consultation, establishing a planned giving program and department supervision.

Habitat for Humanity (Council Bluffs, Iowa)

Habitat for Humanity's mission is to build simple, decent homes and to create safe neighborhoods in partnership with people in need. Habitat forms partnerships with local churches, large and small businesses, civic groups, individuals, who are dedicated to helping people in need. The Tulipana Group facilitated the annual strategic planning process with Habitat's Board of Directors and staff, helping to create a clear direction for the organization.

Justice for our Neighbors (Omaha, Nebraska)

Justice For Our Neighbors Nebraska is a faith-driven ministry, welcoming immigrants into our communities by providing free, high-quality immigration legal services, education, and advocacy. The Tulipana Group provides Justice for our Neighbors organizational capacity building through executive coaching, strategic planning facilitation, and fund development consultation.

Kids Can (Omaha, Nebraska)

Kids Can Community Center in Omaha works to empower children and parents to reach their potential and to enable older adults to maintain their independence. They operate preschool, childcare, after school and tutoring programs for children, as well as senior transportation services, tax assistance, food pantry referrals, computer classes. The Tulipana Group provided Kids Can Board development consultation, including Board training and strategic planning.

Millard Public Schools Foundation (Omaha, Nebraska)

The Millard Public Schools Foundation partners with the Millard public school system to help guarantee a world-class education to every student. They invest in programs that bring educational opportunities and expanded services to Millard students at every grade level. The Tulipana Group provided the Millard Public School Alumni Association Board Development consultation, including Board training.

Omaha By Design (Omaha, Nebraska)

Omaha by Design is a civic planning organization dedicated to the development, implementation and monitoring of urban design and environmental public policy in the metro. The Tulipana Group provided Omaha By Design facilitation services, helping to build consensus around key next steps for the organization.

Omaha Community Foundation (Omaha, Nebraska)

Since 1982, the Omaha Community Foundation has granted more than $712 million to charity on belhalf of its donors. Pete Tulipana serves as the lead consultant for the Omaha Community Foundation Non-Profit Capacity Building Project (pdf). This project includes CEO training and executive coaching for 10 area not-for-profit executives.

Phoenix Academy Day School (Omaha, Nebraska)

The Phoenix Academy is a non-profit private school, kindergarten - 8th grade for students who are experiencing difficulty learning to read, write and spell the English language. The students who attend Phoenix Academy come from many school districts in the metro and surrounding areas, both public and private. Students also come from many small towns across Nebraska and Iowa. The Tulipana Group provides the Phoenix Academy organizational capacity building through executive coaching, strategic planning facilitation, and fund development consultation.

Tulsa Jewish Retirement & Health Care Center (Tulsa, Oklahoma)

Tulsa Jewish Retirement and Health Care Center is a vibrant and energetic continuum of care community with an outstanding reputation. They incorporate Independent Living, three levels of Assisted Living and a twenty-four hour Health Care Center. The Tulipana Group provided Tulsa Jewish capital campaign consultation services and raised $20 million in capital funds to expand and update their facilities.

Uta Halee Girls' Village (Omaha, Nebraska)

Since 1950, the Uta Halee Girls' Village has been assisting kids at risk of not reaching adulthood. Their primary goal is for those they serve to return to their home communities with the skills necessary to find meaning in their lives, form fulfilling relationships and resume a healthy journey into adulthood. The Tulipana Group provided Uta Halee executive coaching consultation services during the organization's transition to new executive leadership.
